Capital, institutional reform and investment execution for Africa’s next stage of growth

Salama Capital is a Kigali-based advisory firm led by Angelique K. Kantengwa. Led by a Harvard Kennedy School Mason Fellow with more than 35 years of experience across central banking, financial sector supervision, national social security governance, and development finance, we solve complex capital, governance, and execution challenges across Africa.

The gap between capital commitment and actual project execution is wider than it looks.

Governments, DFIs, and institutional investors face intense pressure to deploy growth capital, but the same bottlenecks keep showing up: unrefined project structuring slows diligence, complex governance friction stalls momentum, and underperforming institutional frameworks leak value.
