What needed solving
Manufacturing Africa is a seven-year FCDO programme that helps manufacturing projects attract foreign direct investment. It offers neutral, no-cost advisory to lower the risk, cost and time of each deal.
Africa needs around 18 million new jobs a year until 2035, yet its manufacturing sector remains small and low in productivity. Promising projects often stall before investment because of data gaps, weak financial cases and unclear regulation.

- 4
Development impact
